京都ディープ (Kyoto Deep) returns in November to celebrate the Day of the Dead (Dia de los Metros). The Day of the Dead, or “El Dia de los Muertos” in Spanish, is a three-day Mexican holiday that lasts from October 31st to November 2nd. The Day of the Dead is a time to remember the deceased and welcome spirits home. Instead of being an entirely somber occasion, the holiday is a joyous celebration of life and death. People celebrate by creating altars, tending grave sites and taking part in festivities and parades.
This month we have a special opening set by local talent Dj Rin, along side its Resident Dj Max Pela playing the best tunes across Afro House / Afro Tech and Deep House from around the globe.
Afrobeta Bodega and Underbar Kyoto would like to invite you to KYOTO DEEP a space open to all like-minded individuals; in the beautiful city of Kyoto. Bridging the gap for locals, foreigners living in Kansai and tourists alike looking for good music and having a great time. We will be inviting local and international talent to take part in what’s going to be one amazing night alongside its Founder/Resident DJ Max Pela.
