BABALÚ returns this Sunday for our beloved Sunset Ritual, following an electrifying kickoff to our 2024 season with Osunlade last Saturday. I extend my heartfelt thanks to Osunlade for gracing us with his remarkable performance—there’s simply one word: WOW! Thank you, brother. And to Dmitri, your unwavering support and contributions to the scene and our friendship are truly valued.
A huge shoutout to all the talented artists who took the stage—Aya, Sahar, Dj Ageishi—you all brought your unique vibes and delivered sensational sets. I’m eagerly awaiting the release of the video on Afrobeta Bodega and YouTube so we can relive this unforgettable night once more.
Guess what? With all that said we’re at it again. BABALÚ Sunset Ritual returns on Sunday, February 11th, at CASABLANCA BEACH RESORT. We’ve got our BABALÚ resident selectors MAX PELA and DMITRI ABSINTHE with live percussion by TONY MERCI PARIS. Trust me, you’re in for an epic musical treat.
