5月7日（日）には、Werikyoを迎えての再演が決定しました。

Werikyoは、ハウス・ディスコ・パーティー「Oasis」のメンバーです。テックハウスからイタロディスコまでをプレイする彼女の選曲は直感的で、そのミックスはドリーミーでリアルです。

彼女のデッキには、BABALÚの創設者/代表であり、日本のみならず世界中のアフロハウスミュージックを代表するトップアーティストの一人であるMax Pelaが参加することになりました。現在、イベント「BABALÚ」やDJパフォーマンス、ラジオポッドキャスト、プロダクション「Afrobeta Bodega」によるライブイベント制作などを通じて、アフロ・ルーツ・リズムの文化を広め続け、世界中を飛び回りながら、独自のサウンドを届けています。

また、私たちの兄弟であるドミトリー・アブサンが、レギュラーゲストの一人としてBABALÚに帰ってきます。彼は来日以来、日本のナイトライフ・コミュニティーの主役として活躍しています。彼のスタイルは幅広く、ジャズからテクノまでプレイしています。DJとしてのキャリアは20年前、来日前に住んでいたテルアビブで始まりました。

Many thanks to all the beautiful souls who came out to our last BABALÚ. Such amazing energy! Once again, thank you for all the support!

We’re really excited to return on Sunday, May 7th, with Werikyo.

Werikyo is a member of the house-disco party “Oasis”. Playing tech house to Italo disco, her music selection is intuitive, and her mixes are dreamy and realistic.

She’ll be joined on the decks by BABALÚ’s founder/resident Max Pela, one of the top artists representing Afro House music in Japan and around the world. Currently, he continues to spread the culture of Afro-Rooted Rhythms through his event BABALÚ, DJ performances, radio podcasts, and producing live events via Afrobeta Bodega, his production company, while traveling around the world bringing his unique sound.

Also, our brother Dmitri Absinthe is returning to BABALÚ as one of our regular guests. He’s been a staple in the nightlife community in Japan since his arrival. His style has a wide range, playing from Jazz to Techno. His DJ career started 20 years ago in Tel Aviv, where he lived before coming to Japan.
