Tonight, we are honored and excited to be hosting the official after party for the Annual African Festival of Boston. We will be performing live onstage at the festival in the afternoon and then hosting an explosive celebration of music from the continent of africa and beyond. We are excited to welcome back the Malian group Afrimanding. Those who joined us for our New Years’ Eve party will remember them well! They set the place on FIRE!
We are blessed to have you as a part of our community, and urge to to tell your like minded friends to join you. We never get any press and we do not mass market our events… so we partially depend on you to decide who the crowd is comprised of. So far, this formula has worked well for us because we have been blessed with a beautiful, funky, soulful, diverse, open minded and peace-filled gathering. We are one.
The Annual African Festival of Boston will be taking place from 9pm-8pm at the Boston City Hall Plaza and will feature artists from all over the African continent including, Kenya, Uganda, Dem Rep of Congo, South Africa, Cape Verde, Morocco South Sudan and More with African fashion, food and more vendors! Visit the Uhuru Afrika booth!
