House of Pela, one of Central Square’s newest dance parties, brings new meaning to Sunday Funday in Boston. Initially inspired by underground house parties in other cities such as, NYC, Miami, and LA, where it is common to throw such events on Sunday afternoons, the event has a unique start time of 5 pm at Naga. But House of Pela stands out not only because of its scheduling, but because of its exceptional art and music. Capitalizing on the arts-tech culture that’s vital to the Kendal and Central square neighborhoods, House of Pela showcases both local and touring top-notch house music DJs, accompanied by live visuals by Jay Medina.
