Mr. O’Niel’s Bio:
Galbert O’Neil was born in January 7th of 1977 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Being very young music becomes one his passions, thanks to the influence of his father who enjoyed listening to Disco and Rock form the 70’s and 80’s. In late 1989 is when Galbert gets to know house from artist like: 2 without hats, 2 in a room, Jungle brothers, Erick Morillo, Little Louie Vega and tracks like “Technotronic”, “L.A. Style” and “James Brown is dead”. By 1991 Galbert is already thinking of making music his business so he gets associated with a friend to disc jock in house parties and birthdays, where the music was no other than house. In 1996 Galbert gets away from music to study Marketing but keeps close attention to the new trends in music, while understanding the future of AI at the same time. Is in the year 2000 when Galbert gets his first turntables and comes back into the electronic scene. Two years later he performs in his first party and people get to know who Mr. O’Neil is.

In 2003 he becomes resident of the no longer existing, Abacus, the most important club of electronic in the country and he also becomes resident of Soniarch. This allowed him to become established as a dj. Mr. O’Neil has performed with a great amount of djs in which we can find some of the most influential: Miguel Migs (Naked Music, Transport Recording, Salted Music), Marques Wyatt (Deep LA, Om Records), Brian Tappert (Soulfuric Recordings), Jask (Soulfuric Deep, Large Music), Danny Tenaglia, Groove Armada, Sander kleinemberg, Roger Sanchez, Serge Devant, Paul Van Dyk, Nick Warren (Global Underground), Chus & Ceballos (Stereo Productions, Defected Records), Tom Stephan (SuperChumbo), Behrouz, Green Velvet, John Curley, Slacker, Anthony Pappa, Mr. V., Alix Alvarez, Tiesto, Danny Howells, Frank Roger, Charles Feelgood among others.

In 2005 Mr. O’Neil with the Heineken Thirst contest in first place and in the second place in the Latin American regional gaining recognition as a DJ not only in the country but internationally. Galbert O’Neil is an artist with a vision who has achieved the progress of the local electronic scene along with his own. At the moment he’s an associate of the radio program “Visionario on the radio” and is in charge of the logistic of Visionario Artist Management. At the end of the day Mr. O’Neil keeps himself behind the turntables doing what he does best: music, not only mixing tracks but producing his own. He keeps the same idea from his beginnings, that the public feels what he feels and to get everybody infected with his house.
